why is it that,
no matter how much you try to hide something,
still your eyes can't lie..!!!
why is it that,
you can tell from someone's eyes,
when he's fooling around..!!!
why is it that,
they say there is love at first sight..!!!
why is it that,
u feel heavens,
when you look into your beloved's eyes..!!!
why is it that,
eyes tell everything,
that a person is trying to hide..!!!
why is it that,
a person is deep within,
only the things that he fiercely hides..!!!
why is it that,
nothing can ever equal,
the warmth of a mother's lap and lullaby,
the care in a beloved's love,
the belief and protection in a father's hug..!!!
the love in a sibling's fight,
the need and want in a child's eyes,
and the care and concern behind a friend's anger and advice..!!!
why is it that,
best lessons are learnt through pains,
most lovable relations start through fights and strains,
and why we have to lose before we gain..!!!
why is it that,
no one can see our tears when we cry,
but everyone needs us when we want to laugh and smile..!!!
why is it that,
pains given to us by closest people hurt the most,
and in the end we have to walk all alone along the life's coast..!!!
LIFE KEEPS ON CHANGING THE QUESTIONS,
but one thing that i have come to understand for sure is,
that in life,
OUR CHOICES, AND NOT THE CHANCES, DETERMINE OUR DESTINY,
that ambition without determination has no destination,
that life is meant to be lived, to be enjoyed,
to smile and to spread smiles...
even in most difficult of situations..!!!
because in this world,
there is no market for your sorrows..!!!
so treasure the biggest gift by god,
and that is you and LIFE itself..!!!

Hey Mayank, I am surprised that u can write all this at this young age. One has to experience life to understand it so well, and at your age if u r writing this kind of poems, I know how much better u will get with time....I can't express in words what I am feeling at this moment. I just want to cry. Thanks for making me feel like this.
